Wow! What a day! It started at 8:30am and ended at 8:30 pm. We had an awesome day! First we had praise and worship time, and then we had a “case study” to do, followed by an explaination of a psychological test we were given, then another case study, then a presentation on what to expect on the missions field, then another psych. test, followed by evangelism training, and another psych. test.
The most intersting part of the day was the last three hours when we split into a group of seven and eight and given a people group to plan a whole mission strategy for. The people group is the Wolof’s found in West Africa. We have to come up with a plan of action and how we are going to implement it in the country. There is a lot more to this. All this to say that our group has to give a completed 15 min. (not enough time) presentation by 2:30 pm tomorrow. Special shout out to Dave ( John’s bro and main home boy) who helped us with this a little. Please pray that this goes well and that our group will think clearly.
Also, please be in prayer for John and I as we will be interviewed as a couple tomorrow. We are very pleased with the BGC and really feel that the hand of God is in this. We feel so comfortable and secure and at peace with moving forward with this organization.
May God bless you all.
Leave it to God to take care of you! Isn’t our Father awesome!!! I’ll expect good reports from you when you are thru all of this. I’m praying, however, I’m sure it will all come out just the way the Lord wants it to! I love you and are lifting you up before the throne!
