Merry Christmas Friends! Sorry this is a day late but we have been enjoying some much needed family time. This was probably the best Christmas yet. God really put things in to perspective this year. We did not have much to give but we have great friends who are like a family to us and a beautiful baby girl. Her joy and zest for life is contagious. She had a great first Christmas. She enjoyed opening her tinkerbell chair, baby “bike”, book and baby percussion set. Thank you to Grandma Bjorgen and Uncle Dave for making two of those gifts possible :-). It was so fun just being a family and laughing and playing. We have spent the past few days with our AZ family the Murnighans. We drew names and made each other homemade gifts. We are so grateful to God for a family here.
The New Year is coming in a few days. John and I are hoping to leave for Belize only a month after we sing “Old Lang Syne”. As you know, we have 100% of our support raised, but in order to be released to go to Belize we have to raise an additional $15,000 for one-time costs. We are asking that as the year comes to a close you would prayerfully consider giving your year end gifts to help us raise the rest of our start-up funds. If you are interested in doing this click on this link to donate on-line.
We covet your prayers during this time in our lives. As you can imagine, this is a stressful season. We are packing to go, but not sure exactly when that will be. We are also faced with another move before we leave. This will be our fourth move since living in AZ. Thank you for praying! We love you all!
I am so thankful for you two and for all that God will do through you in Belize. Your support level is a miracle and an encouragement to all of us.
We, too are thankful for your Arizona family, just as we were so thankful for our “Enumclaw family” when we lived in Washington.
Your preparation for Belize is like preparation for the rapture—-you don’t know the day or the hour, just be ready!!
Love and misses, Mom.
