Please forgive our absence on this blog. The past couple of weeks were so busy. After our trip to MD we went to SC. What a wonderful time we had catching up with friends and family! John spent the days working with his dad at the home School Dynamics office, and all of our evenings were completely booked with visits. John’s mom Jennifer along with Jennifer O’Neal and Anne Wallace hosted a beautiful baby shower for me while in Hartsville. Thank you to those wonderful ladies! The baby has some beautiful clothes and great toys to play with.
One of our favorite evenings was spending time with our Hartsville supprters at a local restaurant, “Rancho Grande”. What a HUGE blessing our supporters have been to us and we were so thrilled to be able to share with them about our ministry and get to know them better.
After SC, we went on to TN to have a family vacation with John’s family. This was such a fun family reunion! We stayed in a beautiful cabin in the mountains, went to Gatlinburg, and went to Dollywood. We were also able to fellowship together by doing family devotions. We miss our families!
SURPRISE!!! John is going to Belize for 12 days from Oct.21st-Nov.1st. Basil’s health issues brought him back to the states for a month and Vera needs help with the next team coming down (which just so happens to be from our church). So this time I will stay home and John will go. Please pray for him as he prepares to go. I’m sure he will keep us all updated via this blog.
PRAISE THE LORD!!! Will you look at our support? It has gone up to 44%! GOD IS SO FAITHFUL!!! Thank you for praying for us. We have a goal to be at 50% by the end of October to the beginning of November. It CAN happen. Please lift up a prayer of thanksgiving on our behalf to the Lord for the blessings he has given us.
The baby is doing wonderfully. No complications so far. Yesterday we got a 4-D picture of her. She is so precious, we can’t wait to meet “Da-Niece” (the name affectionately given by John’s brothers and sisters because we are not telling the name). Below are the 4-D pics along with other pictures. Enjoy!
