We’re Here!

Wow! What a day! Thank you to Angela Ankers for writing the “In the Crazy Airport, Prayers Appreciated” Post. I told her everything that was going on and she wrote it.

What a stressful day. Now, it’s time to get used to daily living in Belize. I can’t believe I’m here. It does not feel like home yet, mostly because John is not here. I miss him a lot, and so does Evangeline. We are in the city tonight and I am really praying Evangeline can get some sleep. There are barking dogs and honking cars and she is not used to that.

Please pray for us as I’m disoriented and feel as if I don’t have the slightest clue what to do, even though I’ve been here before. The thought that this is my home now and I will not be returning to the United States any time soon, is a bit overwhelming.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.

Always take into consideration – WWJ (Julia) D (hee hee) Remember to borrow Evangeline’s bobo whenever needed 🙂

Miss you two and are praying for you, Evangeline and your mom!!!

We are so thankful to hear of your safe arrival and will be praying for your and Evangeline’s adjustment to your new home. Be comforted with our Father’s word in Isaiah 41:9 & 10 “You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its remotest parts and said to you, ‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you. Do not fear; for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Praying you all will have sweet rest in God’s loving care.

Praise God you arrived! I pray God would give you peace during this time of orientation and that you will feel His presence as you never have before. I pray for sleep for you and Evangeline. I know the disorientation you feel when you arrive to a new land to live and pray God will be your guide for every step you take, always.

    Love you!

I love reading your messages from the front lines!

Our pastor Tim McKnight is off to Haiti for 8 days. Pray for his safety and effectiveness, please. His sermon yesterday was SO ANNOINTED and we had a full house to hear it!
