In my last post I shared that I am receiving IV antibiotics. Usually the antibiotic kicks in within 48 hours and the symptoms subside. Well, it’s been over 48 hours and I still have a high fever. I get it about every 12 hours. I spoke with the nurse tonight and she said usually around three days at the most is when I should see improvement. Today is the third and I just received my second dose for the day.
I am asking that if you get this before your church service, that you will lift me up in prayer at your church, during Sunday school, or just by simply telling others. I believe in the power of prayer, especially the power of corporate prayer. I am trying very hard not to be fearful, but sometimes my thoughts get the best of me. I know God is with me, that He knows my situation better than anyone. Thank you for praying.
I’ll be praying for you Mel and will add you to our pray list at church in the morning. May God bring swift healing.
