Busy Season, Hurricane Season

We are entering the busy season here at the Belize Mission and Retreat. We are hosting six teams between the 7th of June until the middle of August. Several teams are back to back! It will be busy but it will be a lot of fun and very challenging in a good way. We are very excited because a house will be built in the village and many houses will be painted and so much ministry work will be going on. Please be in prayer about the teams coming. Pray hard that the Lord will be with John, Basil and I and that he will sustain us and grant us wisdom on all fronts. We are also excited that our niece (John’s side) Cameryn will be coming for the summer from the 25th of June until August 6th. We are thankful to have her again because during this busy time I really need help with the babies. We are looking forward to seeing her and I’m sure E1 and E2 will take to her right away.

On another note, as I have said before, we have begun visitation throughout the village. This was our pastors idea (Belizean pastor) and we were thrilled to accompany him! He is doing a great job at the visitation and it’s good for John and I because we get to hear some creole and get to know people in the village better.

HURRICANE SEASON!!! Today marks the beginning of hurricane season. We are not stressing, just watching. From June 1st until November 31st we will be watching the storms on the internet. We appreciate your prayers during this rainy season as anything can happen.
