About us

We’re John and Melissa Bjorgen.  John is originally from Anaheim, CA and Rocky Mount, NC and Mel is from College Park, MD. We have two girls and one boy. Evangeline is eight and is super inquisitive. Ellis is six and is always on an adventure. Malachi is four and is a happy guy who always has a song on his tongue and in his heart. God has blessed our family greatly.

The Lord has called us to be missionaries, so we’re following in obedience to Him, no matter the cost. This site exists to glorify God by allowing us to share with others His perfect plan and provision as we run the race set before us.

We are currently in Guadalajara, Mexico and are in the process of helping plant a church and ministering to families with children with special needs.  Our long-term goal to to help foster a church planting movement here. We spent our first term serving as full-time staff at the Belize Mission and Retreat at Turtle Shores. We were also involved in helping re-establish Galilee Gospel Chapel in Gales Point alongside Pastor Kenneth Welch.
