So today we went to church in the village. At 9:00 am Sunday school begins for the kids. They pile into the small church with eager faces. Children from 1-16 join in on the action. We picked up a little girl named Amanda (8) and she climbed into my arms and gave me a big hug and a kiss. Then there was sweet little Christopher (2). This is the boy who climbed on my lap and fell asleep in my arms while we were praying last week. He ran right to me and cuddled with me for a while and then I had to speak so I handed him to John. Christopher’s dark little hands rubbed on John’s face and beard the whole time! It was very cute. Then I went to visit a young girl (Sarsha-18) and her baby (Little John- new born). Such a beautiful baby and this was extra special because I have been praying for mother and baby since I met them in May. There is something thrilling about reuniting with people that you have prayed for. I felt such a strong bond with them even though I hardly know them.
All in all it was a beautiful day.
I had gotten behind on your post but have just gotten back on schedule. It is amazing to hear your stories and what you have done thus far. I know the Lord is working through you both and I am praying for you.
John!! We miss you!! Me and Jeff really need ur help! (some kind of “PCLOADLETTER” error!!!) lol, J/K! It sounds like you guys are having fun, and we’re praying for ya! Love you guys!
I love you both. I have been praying for you.
Christopher looks like a little angel, you just look at him and can’t help but love him.
I cannot wait to see you…I LOVE YOU!
