Waiting on God

Sometimes God says “wait”. Times like these are not easy. There is a certain amount of insecurity that comes with not knowing what is going to happen day to day. Some would panic, as I did when we returned home. Trust me, not the route to go. For the past couple of weeks I have learned that this torture chamber that I call “waiting” is exactly where God wants me to be. And if this is where God wants me then I’m not really waiting for His will to play out in my life, I am already in His will. So I’m not really waiting at all. I hope I did not confuse you.

All I can tell you is that despite anything, my faith is getting stronger. I do believe that some day soon I’ll be standing on the shores of the Belize Mission and Retreat, back at my favorite worship spot, praising God that I am there to stay. Until that time I will just remain content where God has me now. Just keep reading the blog because one day you will read a blog entitled: “We’re Finally Home”.
