Well, at about 3:00 am the Dr. broke Mel’s water to relieve some of the pressure on the baby. As I write this at about 4:00 am, Mel has started to labor pretty regularly. Contractions every 2-4 min. lasting about 60 seconds each.
I fully expect the baby to be waving a white flag as it emerges…
Gotta go…it’s tough to find time to write a post between contractions.
UPDATE: 5:10 am – Epidural is in. We’re trying to relax a bit before the crazy part kicks in.

Whew Hoo, she’s almost here if not already!!!! I know you guys have had a rough night it will be good to have some time to rest, oops, I don’t know we’ll see if that little princess will let you have any time to rest!!!! LOL!!

Here she comes!!! If she’s anything like her mom you guys will have your hands full, or she could be like John, very calm and passive and she’s just been assessing the situation prior to making her entrance!!!! LOL!!
