October, Fatigue, Morning Sickness… What does that Spell?

Pregnant. Yes, I am pregnant. I’ve know since a week after I got to Belize. I am at nine weeks right now. A whole month has gone by and I’ve been nauseated through it all. I’ll be honest, unpacking was miserable. I’m still not done. It’s been difficult trying to keep Evangeline entertained through everything as well. But I am so THRILLED that she will have a playmate.

We have decided to have the baby in Belize. We found a great doctor who consulted with us for about an hour! Unheard of in the states. His office was also the examining room. Since I’ll be having this one less than two years from Evangeline and Evangeline was a c-section, this babe will have to be one as well. We will plan it for October 10th-16th. We get to choose the date. I am nervous about having the baby in Belize but I’m confident in this doctor and in the hospital.

I’m so glad it’s out, because I really need your prayers, about EVERYTHING. The morning sickness, Evangeline, the nerves, the delivery, the next nine months. Thank you and I’m so glad you can all share in this with me.

To Our Families: If this is the first you are hearing about this, I am so sorry. We tried to get in contact with everyone but that is sort of impossible.

Wow…how great! Remember “God has NOT given you a spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind” girl. Do not let the devil take this joyful event and insert fear!

    Mel & John,

I can’t believe I was in Belize with you guys nearly three years ago now, when you were dreaming of returning and of having children. Now you are settled at the base and have a second baby on the way! Congratulations on both. I am so excited to see where God has led you and look forward to journeying with you as you continue to adjust to life in Belize!

    PS- Evangeline is beautiful.
