Happy Due Date Day!

Today I woke up and I wished myself and Baby Bjorgen a “Happy Due Date Day”. As you know, today is my due date and I am thankful. Now, I’m not going to lie to you and say the past week has been great, it has not been a bed of roses. The last couple of weeks of pregnancy HURT. There are all kinds of aches and pains and visits to the bathroom every fifteen minutes. I’ve had my share of irrational thoughts and a day where I simply broke down and cried for hours. It happens, it’s normal, and I will not let it steal my joy.

I say “Happy Due Date Day” because some moms don’t make it this far. Some either miscarry or have a premie. I am blessed to have made it to FULL TERM. I am thankful for a complicated-free pregnancy so far. This is a HUGE praise. Praise the Lord with me. Praise with me but also, PRAY with me. Pray for a continued healthy pregnancy, delivery, and baby. Maybe, if we all pray together, we can pray this baby right out of me. LOL!

As of my appointment yesterday, nothing has changed, I go back in Friday for another exam, so we shall see.

You should do what I did on my due date. Go shopping and then to the Cheesecake Factory for a yummy treat!

I can so relate. My kiddo was 2 weeks late and that last 2 weeks was the LONGEST 2 weeks of my life. I remember walking in walmart being envious of the other moms who had babies cause their waiting time was already over! Go baby go!

You are doing GREAT! Hang in there. She’s a com’in. Patience is a virtue. Know that you are in my prayers.
    With love and blessing,
    Kay

We both know that God’s timing is perfect and he will provide until that time!! She will be here soon!! How exciting!

Anticipation adds to the mystery, wonder, and excitement of giving birth. It helps make the experience memorable! Remember, I went 4 weeks past my “Due Date” with Dave, but he eventually arrived. 🙂 “When the fullness of time was come, God sent forth His Son….” If God’s Son had to wait for the right time to be born, well, what can I say….. We love you and are praying for you and are waiting for a phone call! 🙂
