Back From Chicago- Ready for Baby

On Sunday we returned from a training session with our mission board in Chicago. We got to see our missionary friends for what may have been the last time. You see, one of our friends reached 100% of her support while we were there. PTL! We are all excited to go on the field but it was very sad to say goodbye.

No more traveling for me! No way! We are staying put until after the baby is born. This means that we will be doing all of our MPD (Ministry Partner Development) here in AZ. We are continuing to contact some of the WA churches we visited back in July. It looks like some of those churches might partner with us. Please be in prayer about this.

This Sunday, we will be visiting a supporting church here in AZ called Horizons. Please be in prayer as we present the ministry to this church. They are excited to have us and it would be an answer to prayer if we could get some individuals from that church to partner with us as well.

We are preparing for he arrival of our baby girl. The crib is set up, we just bought a stroller, I’ve been collecting cloth diapers for the past two months now, we have a baby hutch and a changing table, and all the baby’s clothes are washed. I even have my hospital bags packed. I just have to organize a couple of things and then I’ll post pictures of it all. Can you believe that in only EIGHT WEEKS I’ll have a little baby in my arms? We’re so excited.

Eight weeks will go really quickly.

Wednesday came and went and we did not get together, Mel. I was busy scrambling to organize a presentation I gave at my church this morning about my trip to Greece and Turkey in Sept-Oct. It included a lot of pictures and I’m not real swift with all of this technology yet.

    Let’s make it another time.
